HB 27 would prohibit VA authorities from requiring that any person receive a COVID-19 vaccination.
It would also prohibit discrimination based on a person's COVID-19 vaccination status with regard to education, employment, and numerous other situations.
If enacted, HB 27 would cut off the Commonwealth's ability to follow its well established, science based process for making vaccination decisions about Covid-19.
And by prohibiting discrimination based on vaccination status in an array of contexts, it would restrict the ability of the Commonwealth, private employers, health care providers, and others to implement protective measures to protect public health.
