Dr. Ella Webster is running for delegate in HD-98.

Ella attended Dartmouth Medical School. She lived in Richmond for three years, where she worked on Maternal and Child Mortality projects and ultimately moved to Gloucester where she has been since 2006.

Dr. Webster's first job as a clinician was with the Gloucester-Mathews Free Clinic. She was recruited from there to join the Virginia Department of Health's Three Rivers Health District in 2010. She still works for VDH; she provides services for the Norfolk, Hampton, Peninsula, and Chesapeake Districts.

Dr. Webster has served on the Gloucester County Public Library Board of Trustees since 2010, and on the Three Rivers Health Families Advisory Board since 2014.

 Issues

Ella will fight for:

➔ Healthcare +

"Virginia is in a great place to attempt Universal Coverage. With Medicaid expansion, a strong economy and the military, our uninsured population is small enough to be manageable."

➔ Education +

"Schools should have level funding per pupil across the commonwealth. I support getting rid of statewide testing except to assess those who need extra interventions at the third and ninth grades."

➔ Voting Rights +

"Automatic Registration, no felony disenfranchisement, optional vote by mail, ranked choice voting for the primaries."
