More about your group. (Other info about your group: beliefs, activity history, how frequently you meet, talents, etc.) If you need to add paragraph breaks use this symbol <p> We launched in April 2019. We have not set up regular meet ups yet for the wider public who are interested and/or support us, but we have plans to. The Steering Committee have been meeting regularly to work out our organizational structure and actions for the 2019 election. We do have plans to expand our membership & move into policy & legislative advocacy work going into 2020. We want to help change the political culture in VA politics so that it is more transparent and accountable to the people. Not only do we want to help elect candidates who are committed to this but we see that the best way to strengthen our democracy is if we can expand civic engagement. So we want to work on public outreach on policy issues through innovative & creative strategies using the storytelling. We also want to keep growing our movement and involve more folks.
