Dear Representative,
With these bills we can improve the education and mental and physical health of students in the Commonwealth by providing more and better work-based learning and mentoring opportunities for teachers, principals and support staff.

We have the opportunity to standardize the qualifications and training requirements for school nurses and other health staff, and provide better academic and health services to our students by reducing the ratio of students to staff. These are important components of Virginia’s Standards of Quality.

Sincerely,
