Voters of Tomorrow

Youth-led organization seeking to educate, empower, and engage Generation Z with politics and government.

Voters of Tomorrow was founded in 2019 by then 17-year-old Santiago Mayer, an immigrant from Mexico. Santiago noticed a lack of political engagement at his high school and decided to tackle that by creating a new organization for young people, by young people.

During the 2020 election, we delivered our first major initiative, “Prom At The Polls.” The campaign registered thousands of voters and reached tens of millions of people through a series of organic social media trends and digitally organized events.

Gen Z deserves policy that represents us.

When Voters of Tomorrow set its goals as an organization, the most important of all was to be an organization that represents Gen Z. With the Gen Z Agenda, we’re making it clear what we stand for as a generation. We aren’t going to wait for today’s leaders to invite us to the decision-making table; we’re going to build our own seat at the table.

The Gen Z Agenda highlights the immense diversity of our generation, both in background and in belief. Data was utilized to determine Gen Z's views on each issue area, ensuring that the Gen Z Agenda is as accurate and representative as possible. Moving forward, the Gen Z Agenda will guide Voters of Tomorrow’s electoral, legislative, and communication strategies as we work to empower young voters across the country.
