Virginia students need more and better staff/student ratios for positions such as school nurses, English Language Learner instructors, guidance counselors, and special education support staff.
In addition to academic and health support, Virginia students are in need of infrastructure improvements so that every child has a safe, clean and welcoming environment to learn, and safe, reliable, and timely transportation to and from school.The Senate's proposed budget includes big investments in our children's health, safety, and academic growth while the House's budget proposal benefits primarily big corporations.
